Welcome Message

Welcome to the clan website of {xvc}. We are a Counter-Strike Source gaming clan and we started out way back on the 6th March 2006!

Initially, the clan was made up of only a few members constisting mainly of family members. A few friends mainly from around the Nottingham area that played either Counter-Strike Source, Day Of Defeat Source and other First Person Shooters started to come together regularly to play online.

We started out playing a couple of regular favourite servers, we decided to get a voice comms server hosted by one of the members and as we got more involved with the games, (mainly CS:S) it became a regular thing and so we decided to try our hand at renting a game server and teamspeak server.

We tried a few different server hosts, some good, some not so good... In fact some of them were pretty poor to say the least.

After expanding our clan we started to enjoy playing matches with other clans and decided to add more servers for our members so that we had a private server, public server and mod servers for gungame and such like.
Our public server became quite popular with time and with our clan all being made up of over 21's we attracted the more senior of player that wanted to play the game without having to put up with immature kids or what was best described by one of our more level headed mature members as "skanky pre-pubescent haxor nooblet's" on the server.

We don't tolerate hacking, racism, raging, bunny hopping and or anything that will spoil the fun of the regular players on our server. We all have a laugh in team chat and in team speak, we welcome anyone who comes on the servers and respects each other and gets on with playing and enjoying the game.

Every one of our clan members will have the clan tag {xvc} with full admin at all times and you will find one of us present on the server nearly every night without fail to ensure you have a great night without people spoiling the atmosphere.
